1 c Brown sugar 2 c Nuts, chopped
1 c Shortening 1/2 t Salt
1/2 c Sour cream 1/2 t Nutmeg
1 Egg 1/2 t Baking soda
2 c Flour 2 t Baking powder
Cream shortening and sugar. Add beaten egg and nuts. Sift dry
ingredients and add to mixture alternately with cream mixture. Drop
by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven until
lightly browned.
