Funk's Grove Route 66 Sugar Cookies

Ingredients & Directions


1 c Margarine 2 Eggs
1 c Granulated Sugar 1 ts Baking Soda
1/2 c Powdered Sugar 1 ts Cream Of Tartar
3/4 c Corn Oil 1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Maple Syrup 4 c Flour

Cream margarine and sugars together, add corn oil, maple syrup and
eggs and cream well. Sift together the soda, cream of tartar, salt
and flour. knead dry ingredients into creamed mixture to form dough.
Chill dough for 1 hour.

Drop by teaspoonsful on cookie sheet and press with glass dipped in
sugar to flatten. Bake in preheated 350 F oven for 12 mins or until
browned.

Makes 7 dozen cookies.
